Kuruçeşme - ISTANBUL

As the Walnut Producers Association (CUD), we care about informing our producers about the effects of climate change on agricultural production and sharing solutions. Especially in recent years, global warming, drought, seasonal imbalances and sudden weather events have caused serious yield decreases in walnut gardens.

In this context, we are organizing an online seminar with the participation of two experts from Spain in order to benefit from the experiences of walnut producers worldwide.

WE FACE THE BIGGEST THREAT!

While we are trying to figure out what precautions we can take against the threats posed by global climate change, we now notice the effects of climate change in its harshest form in our gardens every year.

As the Walnut Producers Association, within the framework of our sustainability principles, we have initiated a very important study on the measures that can be taken regarding global climate change in walnut-producing orchards throughout Turkey.

· The effects of the global climate crisis on walnut farming,

· The measures taken by producers in other countries,
