Highly processed foods and pesticides are major concerns regarding food safety.

Consumers say they are willing to pay more for products that protect the soil and the environment.

Climate Commitments
A recurring theme stands out in consumer surveys we have conducted over the years:
Although consumers view environmental awareness as an important goal, this isn't always reflected in their purchasing behavior.
Over 80% of participants said they were concerned about climate change, with almost a quarter (24%) saying they worried about its effects every day.
However, only about half (44%) say they are willing to pay more for environmentally friendly foods that improve soil quality and increase biodiversity.
Additionally, 43% said they would follow a similar path if persuaded.
'As a global society, we must do more to produce food with the lowest possible environmental impact. We must move towards sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices for future generations.'
—Enda Buckley, Director of Sustainability, Carbery Group
